I am looking at replacing my current valve and I have a quick question about them, I am wondering what is the difference between the two and which should I get if it makes a difference.

I haven't had problems with the car until the last month when I had to replace the alternator and fusible links and when I hooked everything back up and double check all connections I figured all was well cause it drove so well for a few days and then it started stumbling after starting. The check engine light came on and well I code 32 flashed and the car sounds like it wants to stall and pop when I rev the engine up after starting it but it appears that when the engine is at operating temp or running for a few minutes that it works itself out. I checked the wiring in the area and its all fine, I am unable to get my finger in there to see if the valve is closing or providing vacuum.
I just replaced the EGR in my 89 Firebird. I bought it from the Partsladi or something off of Ebay. It was a Delphi part, which probably is the same thing as you would get from the dealer. It is a negative pressure.
When I had a shop replace the EGR on my Firebird years ago, I just found out they put a positive EGR on. Which I guess is why my code 32 on the highway never went away.
