Default Fog Light assembly removal

I have the front bumper cover off. Is it necessary to remove the entire bumper structure to get the fog light assembly off? I can see where AI can get to the outboard two bolts on both of them but I don't see how I can get to the inboaurd bolts. The FSM isn't very clear on this. Can you help? Thanks.

Figured it out, two outboard bolts remove from the back side, then remove the tube that holds the outboard lamp (it unscrews) from the back side, press the inboard (sprung) end of the lens assembly toward the rear of the car and shift the whole assembly toward the outboard side of the car until the tab on the inboard end comes out of its hole.

Hope this helps someone else.

What year did you do this on? Because on an 84 this is a bit more harder than what you are making it sound too me (NO SPACE and no flex...)... I know there are two bolts and all, but I tried so many different ways of taking one unit out since I'm totally restoring this vette, and I came to a conclusion it's time to drop the WHOLE nose and take them out.

Because the outter metal deal on the lens assembly is huge (in length) which the bolts go into from the backside, and it seems to NOT want to come out no matter how much I push on the inner side...

87 Coupe. My bumper cover was off. I did not try to take them out before I took off the bumper cover. I'm doing a repaint too so had to remove the front cover. I'm not sure if it could be done with the cover on. Mine were tough to get out too. They won't come out until you remove the tube sticking out of the back of it that the light bulb stick into. Even then, they were real tight. I just worked patiently at pressing the inboard (sprung) end in and shifting the whole assembly outboard while the sprung side was compressed. Seems like it took a couple of small moves of compress/shift to get it to finally come out.
