Know enough to be dangerous!??
The only issue I have is that the car goes way rich when I stomp the throttle. Driving around town, it drives great. I'd just like to finally tune it for some hp and have considered either another trip to the tuner or, getting an Ostrich 2.0. I don't see a lot of mods down the road and the only thing that I'd like to address at this time is the WOT A/F ratio. I think its the fuel enrichment that is needing "tweaked".
My question is whether folks who have used this product feel that it would be worth it to invest in one or, simply travel the couple of hours to the tuner? Any input appreciated.

Seems as though you have a very confusing "ride". The MAF translator is probably helping you more than you can realize. The MAF provide "perfect" volume data for engine loading. On the other hand, when you go into power enrichment (PE) the PCM ignores it's sensors and throws more spark and/or fuel.
So the way to fix this is to get your VE tables right. Get the tuning stuff so you can do it yourself (WBO2, datalog, and tuner). The S/C is going to drive you wacky until you can figure out how to monitor (and plan) how much more air it is going to push into the enginer
