Removed my 89's breadbox, put a flat panel piece from Eckler's in there, and put a CORVETTE name emblem on it. The emblem is the same one that's on the tailpiece of the car. Spray painted the emblem with black, flexible bumper paint before attaching it to the flat panel. Looks pretty good, just have to find some way to get a digital photo done.
That is, if anyone is interested.

Its just an accurate measurement devise to let me know when the motor has been running.
At 2000 hours I think it may be time to remove the engine and replace it with a Big Block...lol by that time I should be graduated from college and have a decent daily driver. I'm thinking 454.
Right now I'm planning on doing oil changes at 200 hours, but I'll definitely keep an eye on it, it may be lowered to 150 hours.
It also is a very crude way of measuring 1/4 mile runs. :D

Cool idea .. especially since miles isn't a very good way of determining how much use a car gets.

No pictures yet, but I have a home made side air scoop. You need to relocate the battery.
