CAGS on 91 6-Speed

CAGS on 91 6-Speed
Hi everyone! New Corvette owner here. Wanting to know where the CAGS solenoid is on the 91 six-speed so I can bypass it :D :D

Make sure you pull the correct plug!!! There is an identical plug near the top of the tranny that is much harder to get at. I never pulled the one on the top :-) that is why I know all about it! (It's even harder to re-connect). The skip-shift kits are just plug ends to keep roar grime out of the exposed connectors, but are very inexpensive. You could probably just use some foil to just try it out for a while. :D

Welcome to Corvetteforum...there are some really nice people here and also some real bastiches also(just ignore them)
Mine was on the drivers side and I just disconnected it and folded back the ends...I put it up on a lift and it was easy to reach on the lower side of the trans, ...and no more crappy 1st to 4th...its a miracle... :yesnod: :lol: :cheers: :seeya
