Leakage from Dana..temporary fix?
I'm Fitting a used dana 36 3.07 I bought cheap as a temporary replacement as my 2.29 died unexpected, and dont want to waste $$ on it replacing seals etc as Im upgrading the rear in the very near future, but want to still have a daily driver.
Obviously leaking as the purchased pumpkin is covered in coating of oil and dirt.Is there an additive that may tempoarily rejuvinate the obviously dried seals?
Possibly the use of a non synthetic oil?as this allows the seals to expand slightly more when used intially in a reco rear during "break in" but obviously these are new seals.
