Default Hood Prop; Bad?

Is it bad for the hood to leave the hood propped up for an extended amount of time (2 weeks now)? I wasn't sure if anyone had an experience with the hood flexing too much and cracking. Just wanted to cover my tracks.

Thanks.

If you're really concerned, just wedge a 2x4 on the other side of the hood similar to where the strut is and call it even.

My hood's been up more than it's been down over the last 24 years, seriously. After I come home from a race (usually Wed night), the car goes in the garage and the hood goes up until the next Wednesday. No signs of damage yet!

I just pull the plugs on the hood lights so that they wont drain the battery
