Default Vacuum line help

O.K., I feel like an idiot. I replaced the injectors on my 85 Saturday and didn't label all of the vacuum lines I disconnected because I was SURE I would remember exactly what I had done because it was SO SIMPLE.

I was wrong, of course.... I shuffled just enough stuff around to make me unsure of what I did...

Does anyone have a diagram of the vacuum lines or even just a picture of the right side of an 85 L98 engine that I could use as a guide?

Please be gentle, I feel pretty stupid and have looked all over for a diagram but couldn't find one.

I believe there should be a diagram located on the drivers side, on the radiator cover.

I believe this is for a 86 -87 but should be close enough to give you the basic layout

nice diagram, this is right in line with the trouble I have been asking for help with today. I posted about how oil pressure pushed out my dipstick and shot oil all over the engine. I haven't gotten any real answers except that the PCV valve may be clogged, and it is not. While tracing the lines out of the PCV, I followed them to the canister in the front of the car. There is another filter there, between a solenoid and the canister. On this diagram the filter is on the line between the 'purge cont solenoid" and the canister (and it is not the canister filter). The filter is a clear housing with an element inside, and it has the words "to carbs' in raised letters on it. What is this filter? Is is an add on, because I dont have carbs on an 86? If this filter is clogged could it cause the pressure problem similar to a clogged PCV valve?

Is your blow by condition happening at idle? Or under driving conditions?
I would assume the reference to crab indicates that GM used the same basic system for all the vehicles.

Thanks guys for the help!

There isn't a diagram in my engine compartment, but based on it's prior life as a race car there are lots of things that should be but aren't there.

I lurked on this forum for a long time before I got my first vette (recently) so I knew it was a pretty good place to get answers. The diagram is just what I needed. I should be back up tonight.

Thanks for going easy on me for a knucklehead mistake....
