Temperature Differences
There are two LT4's in our household, both used as daily drivers.
One has 84K miles, long-tube headers, and a Corsa exhaust (and has been tuned).
The other is a stock (except for opened air box) car with 67K miles.
The 67K car usually runs its coolant 10-20 degrees cooler than the oil, while the 84K car is the exact opposite, its coolant runs hotter than the oil.
Just found this interesting and wondered if anyone has an explanation for what is going on...

The one with the headers and it's tune I would guess has a lower thermostat in it.

What are the
actual typical temperatures???
After car is warmed up the oil should be 10 or so degrees warmer than the coolant...or at least that is how mine has always operated
My first guess from your info would be the car with the coolant hotter than the oil has a bad coolant temperature sensor...

I have been hearing a lot about temp sensor problems. My ex has a 94 Camaro that has a defective one.
