rough idle...
Is a rough idle bad for the rotating assembly? Right now I have my idle around 850 just because I'm breaking in the engine and I figure all that shaking from a low rough idle isn't good for it. When I'm done breaking it in, does having it idle low where you can hear the lope and the car shakes a bit hurt too much?

If all cylinders are firing and it's just a rough idle because of your cam. Then it won't hurt the engine at lower RPMs, it is still a balanced assembly.
