Default Engine is back in!

Yesterday I pulled my engine IOT install a super damper. Since it is a holiday weekend we had guests over so I only had until 1130 AM to play with the car. Well today I put it back in. It would not go in whole due to the super damper.

But it was pretty darn complete. I had to remove the smog pipes from the headers and the back of the intake and the two Oil pressure switches (actually I removed them IOT not take a chance to break them so they may have been ok.)

So heres the proof ( I had to wait until the crack of noon to start IOT get help from my teenager*)

Pretty bare in there

Not much room in front of the hub so pulling for the install msy have been a good idea

I needed a 1" longer belt

Engine back to normal

All in probably took 2 1/2 hours for the install/ 3 1/2 hours total for new belt, coolant, etc, since it took two trips to autoparts store since I didn't plan on new belt.

I'm guessing youve been there before, thats pretty quick work. Damper is often overlooked/ignored item and thats a nice looking replacement you have. Very clean in there also .
