anyone? as in, less intervention. computer programming maybe? in my pontiac gtp, the computer is programmed at the factory to allow some wheelspin before traction control intervenes.
Ed,
I know this is off topic, but I just noticed you have an Ikerds rearend. With the HD cover, have you done any racing at the track or given it much load. I only ask 'cause I shattered my 3:54 from Ikerd with out the HD cover. I now have the 3:73 with HD cover, just worried I will do it again. Let me know CROOZN@webtv.net thanks, Mike

I have 2 suggestions. 1. post this in the ECM/PCM section and see if anyone responds. 2. Call Ed Wright at Fastchips. In a e-mail I got from him about his chips one of the things they say that they do is enhance the ASR. I dont know if they will give much detail. It seems they talk in terms of enhance, tweek this or that etc. I guess they dont give details since they are trying to protect their knowledge of what to change in a chip.
I have often wondered about this myself. It seems to me that the ASR should be able to be set up for use on a drag strip and would give faster and more consistent ET then trying to launch without it. Good luck
