84 cross-fire question
(I know this may seem like a really stupid question) but how do I remove the lower portion of the air cleaner on a 84 cross-fire? I'm relatively new to Corvettes and until I purchased my 84 a year ago had never really looked at a cross-fire engine.
It appears it's held in place by four hex bolts (two on ea side of throttle bodies) and of course the associated hoses.
I need to remove the lower portion in order to access and replace a leaky rocker arm cover on the drivers side. I'll likely replace the gasket on both sides since the both covers are an eyesore and while I have them both off I might as well paint the covers.
Second question:
I also have a leaking rear main seal, what type of tool will best suit me to install the upper part of that seal?
Thanks, Dave
