Scorp,
I checked with Summit on the centerbolt valve cover wireloom kit you have ($40 :eek:) , and it says it's for 1987-2001 Chevy engines. What happened to '86? Are plug wires on the '86 a different size than '87+? I just want some damn looms that'll work if the MSDs dont fit!!

Early '86 had perimeter valve cover bolts on the iron heads. The late '86 vettes had the aluminum heads w/centerbolts. I you have centerbolts, then you can use the same kit. :) yeah it is pretty expensive for what you (don't) get.
