Default valve covers

i have some 4 bolt valve covers but my 85 dart headed vette has 4 and the pcv valve (hose going to cover)
what valve covers will use all the bolts and still look good with higher than stock clearance

I used to run Dart heads and I had only 4 bolt holes. Small block heads only have 4 perimeter bolts or center bolts. I don't think you will find any manufacturer that makes a 6 bolt valve cover.

There's lots of choices, but I used the GMPP short cast aluminum ones on my 85 with Dart heads and finished them in wrinkle black and brushed the letters.

Check the proforms on jeg's or summitt...they look very similar to eguyett's....which look cool as hell with that motor...

I was really happy with the quality and looks of mine. Found them on E-bay and they do have baffled holes for breather and PCV.

They're from a company called Ansen on E-bay. Right now they only have them "Buy it now" for $225 plus shipping, which I would have never paid that much. When I bought them they had them in an auction and I only paid around $160 shipped.

If you go on E-bay motors and search "Ansen sbc" it wil bring up what they have for small block Chevy right now. Since it looks like you have 383 they also have ones that say "383 STROKER" in plain aluminum that you could paint any color you want and they're only $139.
