Better air filter housing?
Has anyone made a different air filter housing that is less weight and easy to disassemble?
The stock system works fine but really is pretty heavy, especially the large plastic filter housing. It's also IMO a PITA with those clips that go into the radiator housing. Those clips on mine have been trashed awhile ago and the studs glued into the filter housing.
Any ideas? I thought of trying a cone type filter in the stock location but I've measured and it won't fit. There is not a lot of height room there.
