Starter wiring

1993 LT1 6 speed

Gents, what is the wiring for the starter? I'm away from home and don't have my FMS handy...

I have the purple wire for the solenoid, the 2 awg wire for the actual starter motor, and a smaller (12 awg?) red wire. It appears to go on the same spot as the battery feed, but that seems strange...and I can't remember where it was when I took it off.

Any comments?

I checked and I only have one wire on each connection. I don't have three wires.

'93 LT1, Automatic. Could it have something to do with yours being a manual trans.?
