Roll bar labor
S W Racecars has 8 point roll bars, 1 3/4" x .134 on sale for $109.00. What would a reputable shop charge for welded installation? They have the C4 specific kit That comes in pieces. I guess it's just a matter of removing the carpet and stuff.

I'll guess about a $1500 to build/weld and install/cut/weld in a 4 point bar.
I bolt the bar in and out of my Camaro all the time, takes about 1.5 hours and the initial install took about 4 hours. but camaros bolt to the floor boards (or weld). Vett bodies as you know are fiberglass so we have to cut the body and weld to the frame.
Find a shop that has done Vette installs before. So you aren't paying hourly to reinvent the wheel, and they will know ahead of time what problems come up. That way you will get a well done cage/bar that clears the top hinges etc.
