I was told that back firing on my c4 is being caused by a clogged fuel injector. Would cleaning the fuel injectors by a professional service take care of this problem.

You can try a pour-in solution like SeaFoam, or the OTC cleaner, but most likely you've got a dead player.
Get in touch with Jon at FIC (a forum sponsor here), he'll steer ya straight!

Actually Jon is the person who told me about the injectors. First testing Ohms and then change the injectors. Thought maybe cleaning may save me a couple of bucks.
GM shops uses a cleaner that is attached to the fuel rail.
gm has not condoned the cleaning of multecs for years.. the first service bulitin came out in 94, here is the latest by AC Delco to all Jobbers and dealers. Read the section concerning pre 94 multecs. I would think that GM knows something about the problem. If a dealer is cleaning pre 94 multecs they are actually doing more harm than good http://acdelcotechconnect.com/pdf/tsb/tsb_05D-105.pdf

Ok I read the GM bulliten. I'm won't be doing the work myself bringing to a mechanic. Is there a way to test the Injectors to find out which is clogged. Do I need to change all the Injectors or can you just replace clogged ones.

i would not recommend doing anything to try to fix multecs. They are going to fail eventually, why not spend 169.00 and get a set of Bosch injectors that won't fail. To check the injectors you have to remove everything as if you were going to change them, so, you might as well change them
