spark plug replacement
Yeah, it's a PITA.
There's probably going to be crud around the plug holes so clean around them while the old ones are still in.
The driver's side is reasonable. IIRC it helps to unfasten the asr device to gain room.
The front two on the passenger side are okay. It's number six and especially number eight that take some figuring out, due to no clearance.
Having the right tools will help immensely. I use a long handled, flex-head ratchet. I also have a very short extension which has a thumb wheel. Quite handy when you're working with your fingertips.
The most difficult part is getting the new plug started into number eight. Some suggest using a piece of hose on the plug to turn it. However you do it, be careful to get the plugs started straight and don't over tighten them.

Be careful w/ #8. The rest are pretty straight-forward with some patience. All I remove is the driver's fenderwell panel. The real PITA will be when you're ready to replace your wires. I seriously think the next time I do that I'll be removing the water pump for access.
