Could you please explain what exactly it is you're looking for? I have a NOS steering rack straight from Corvette Recycling sitting in my basement, so I could take some pics if I know what to take them of.

Brian, it's also referred to as a "rag joint", or "rack biscuit", and no, they
don't come with racks (I sell 4-5 rack & pinions per day). And, as
said earlier, it's the mounts that are available in urethane, not the
coupler. Make sure to get a GM unit, not the Chinese Dorman/Help
unit....
Hi Brian,
For what it's worth, regarding poly rack mounts, I wouldn't bother. I put them on mine when I did my motor. They deflect just about as much as the stock rubber mounts when you steer. I honestly can't tell the difference on the street or track.
However it looks like it would be pretty easy to machine some from delrin or aluminum.

The reason I wanted to know about the upgrade is when I bought my large tire/wheel combo, I got a phone call from the wheel supplier saying that some people were tearing the racks off the mounts!

Can you get me a deal on one?
Eh, the brand I sell, quite frankly, I wouldn't put one on my car...
Call them about the other part you need. Really good prices. They have some stuff that is not listrf on the website too. Good folks to buy from. Sounded like StealthLT4 was trying to sell you his NOS 2.5 rack in his post above. This is something I may do when I start pulling the ront suspension off of the car for the Polybushing install.
I recently installed a steering rack from Zip-Corvette; very good customer service.
As to upgrading the mounts to polyurethane, the passenger side is very easy, it simply slips over the rack; the driver's side was, for me, difficult.
The driver's side mount consists of a rubber bushing around a large aluminum bushing that forms the inner diameter of the mount. This rubber/aluminum assembly is pressed into an aluminum boss which is intergal with the rack housing.
It would not simply press out; and beware of trying to muscle it out or using excessive force, if the aluminum boss is damaged, the rack is ruined.
I removed the original mount by using a die grinder to grind away most of the aluminum bushing and a small drill to drill through the the rubber portion of the mount; it wasn't easy, but it was more labor intensive than anything.
But at some point I removed enough of the rubber and aluminum to allow the remainder to be pressed out without an excessive amount of force.
Part of the problem seemed to involve the fact that the inner surface of the aluminum boss had a layer of corrosion that was "biting" into the outer surface of the rubber portion of the mount.
Reassembly was easy, I cleaned the oxidation/corrosion from the inner surface of the steering rack boss, coated it and the new polyurethane mount liberally with anti-seize to forestall any further corrosion, and it was good to go.
