I just put in AC/Delco RapidFire #5's in my '87. Supposidly everyone says all those Special Plugs like the Platinum +4's are a gimmic. I guess I would kind of have to agree seeing as the AC/Delco's work just fine. I got the RapidFire ones over the OEM because they have a nicer finish to the metal and the platinum tip will last longer so I wont have to replace for a long long time.

I like the NGK TR-55 Double Platinums.

I'd go with either NGK TR-55 or AC/Delco. I've had both in my car and they run well. Don't go for any of the spark plug hype, or quintuple-platinum crap. A spark is a spark.

OEM is ACDelco platinum. However, because ACDelco doesn't make an iridium for our LT1 engines, and I had 3 ACDelco platinum plugs which had lost their 'pucks' (small platinum spot on the inside of the ground electrode)...

I choose to put in NGK TR55ix (iridium) in our 94 -- Been running good.

BTW, remember to use a torque wrench and a dab of anti-sieze.
