Default Datalogging AEM UEGO WB o2 sensor

I just installed an AEM UEGO wideband o2 sensor in preparation for tuning my car (LT1 Edit is in the mail), and am a bit confused on datalogging. Is it possible to take the 0-5v output, or the serial output (the AEM has both) and somehow send it to my laptop for logging? I'll probably be using ProScan for my scanning/datalogging tool, with an OBDII-to-USB interface.

Thanks.

You'll probably want to use the serial output. The 0-5v output is intended to be fed into another device like an ECM or data collection box to be used alongside other sensors. The serial output will let you log the WB sensor in a stand-alone fashion provided AEM gives you logging software.

Logging AFR without any other inputs would be pretty useless though. I found out that I can wire the serial output into a RS-232 (9-pin serial cable). However, my laptop doesnt have an RS-232 input, and I don't know if that mode would be supported by the serial-to-USB converters on the market. Also, I don't know if I can take that input into ProScan. I should probably call them...

I doubt proscan will be able to log an auxilary input like your WBO2, either through the serial or analog 5V outputs. It's just an obii scanner/logger that pulls data from the car's ECM. What I end up doing is using one tool to log ALDL/OBD data and another (Innovate AuxBox/LogWorks) for the stand-alone WBO2 and just sync them up by time. Others have hacked the car's ECM to add a wb02 input, and then the data comes through nice and tidy all in one stream.
