Default ASR AND ABS guy again

Please somebody help, my asr and abs compartment behind the drivers seat got wet with an inch of water, I am assuming this is why my service abs and service asr lights are on. I have had this car for years and this is the first time this car has ever showed any lights on the screen. I topped off fuid, i replaced batter, I checked all connections, please can someone help me determine if the water fried the unit marked abs asr inside compartment. Or is there another way for me to fix.

Did the system set any codes? If so, did you clear the codes?

We need more info about what action you took.

This site will familiarize you with the system.

I did not pull the codes, I was hesitant to do this paperclip method. If I do this paperclip method do I need to drop the panel below the steering because I see no adapter there. Please advise I will do this if that is where the adapter is to run this scan?

Look to the right of the steering column above your left shin. Shud be there somewhere? Just about the bottom of the lower trim pad.
