Noisy smog pump - how do fix it???
My 92 coupe has that very loud and annoying electric smog pump on the drivers side by the radiator. It kinda "squeals" a little, and is just overall noisy. I took it apart, and the bearings seem fine, the blower is not rubbing the housing anywhere, so do I replace it? Are the newer models quieter? It is really kinda embarassing to start it up at the local drive-in....... :bb

$40 would not be bad, but my local dealer, who cuts me some slack, said it was about $240!!!! Any other input.......
