84 C4 water pump question

84 C4 water pump question
I am recovering from spinal fusion surgery and my water pump is leaking. I can't really get in there to look at things but my question is this:
To remove the water pump on the 84 C4, what else needs to come off to get to the pump?

Yeah, it is a pretty big undertaking...they bolted everything on top of that thing....
Everyone laughed at me, but I couldn't get a compressor mounting bolt out with out first taking off the passenger side Valve cover.......
that Water pump took two good days of wrenching for me.....it was pretty major...and I should have done the timing cover "while I was in there".........
So you finally get down to it...and it is 4 bolts.
But you have to start with that fan shroud......which has the coolant hoses in the way as well as (if you have the 4x3) Tranny oil lines running the radiator...and you work your way back from there.
Many many things have kicked my butt because I thought it would be tougher than it really cracked up to be....but that Water Pump was the opposite.
