Default Got the TB working.

The guys at Holley were helpful in resolving my throttle problem. The throttle return spring was simply too tight, but there is an adjustment for it. I'm not real sure why they made no mention of the adjustment in the instructions, but I know now. Loosening the spring allows my throttle to open all the way up now.

There is a small problem with the throttle cam that won't let it fall back to idle, I was able to correct this with a dremel tool, it really doesn't look like it has been modified. Holley is going to rework the design to correct this on future models. It is only a problem on 92-93 models as they have a different throttle cam than the later models.

I'm happy with the piece now that I got the quirks worked out of it, it sure looks better than stock and you can't beat the deal I got on it. I'll see about getting it dyno'd before I get my heads to see if it really made any difference. I honestly can't even feel a SOTP difference, I am also not noticing the decrease in driveabillty that some people complain about.

Glad to hear that its working fine now...and the TB should benefit you later when you do more mods. Also nice to hear the guys there gave you good customer service. Not many people will help after they sell you a part.

Also can you tell me if the Holley place you went to has a showroom? If so, is it worth visiting?
I went to BG today off exit 28 by the museum and seen the sign for Holley but wasnt sure if thats the place to go in the future to browse or window shop their items.

:)

I don't think they really have a showroom of parts. I think you can get a tour of the manufacturing facility, and you can look at a lot of things there, but I'm pretty sure they are not set up for shopping. I didn't see anything at really looked like it would be for sale.
