VATS module
Hi all.
I will buy a new VATS module. Do i need the key code?
When i test it with polymeter it says 11,86 (20K scale). That is 11860 (key 15) or 1186 (key 5).
I do it in 20k scale because my polymeter is 2K, 20K, 200K, 2000K .
This is an 86 vette.

I don't think will find a new one and any 2nd hand ones will be programmed to one of the 15 key codes.

when you buy the new decoder box the first key which it reads is the code of what it will be. That is if you can find a new one, I bought one quite a few years ago and it was like 250 bucks if memory serves me right.

I´ve seen a new one at Ebay. It´s 70 $.
