Default Sys code. AC not working, Antenna dead Corvette Gods angry

All systems were working last year. Today, I replaced the door panels and valve covers that I have been stalling on for months.

Tried to start the car but battery was dead. Used cranking setting on charger and car fired up.

Everything works except I get the "SYS" on my odometer. I don't know how to retrieve the codes. Auto X-ray says no codes found. I have disconnected the battery and started charging

When you turn on the radio, you get no sound but there is display. The antenna doesn't go up though. AC has no lightouts and fuse for AC is fine. Any ideas?

PS, under the old valve covers there is a little milky stuff. Could it be condensation from winter starting? Would some running and an oil change take care of it? BTW, the crankcase is vented to atmosphere. Not sure if that hurts or helps.

This is for a 91. Will a virgin sacrifice help?

No it will not...
Now repeat after me or better yet write it on the black board 10,000 times

"I will not jump start a car with tons of electronics"

Even worse done with a battery charger..sigh,, not to flame you but a battery charger has the dirtiest output of anything you can connect to your car. There are some ac components in the voltage output that can smoke things and the battery does not mind but the car does. I would not charge a battery with it still connected to the car...

The jump start may or may not have hurt something if not you dodged a big bullet.

And yes if siting for a while condensation is normal if not in a climate controlled room with humidity etc all being monitored.

How do I check whether something is smoked or not?

BTW, engine runs well. Everything else seems to function

I took my battery out to be tested and it tested fine. That was my penance. The gods have smiled on me finally.

Get this. It was the 15 amp courtesy fuse that broke.

Just as well. Can't find a virgin except at the Chinese mail order companies. Her name is Wai. As in Wai So Yung. Anyways, problem solved. Hope I can cancel the Chinese virgin or I might have to keep her till she is of age. They say she comes with a little lead dowry.
