shift boot removal
- remove screws (center to passanger side - leave the left side alone) from dash cluster bezel where speedo and tach are (if you're careful you can leave this piece in - but you will have to pull it out on the right side to remove next piece)
-remove center console bezel from dash
- remove shifter **** (for manual trans. pry out the shift pattern to expose a metal key, this key lifts straight up and out, then the know can be unscrewed- for auto trans. I don't have a clue but it may be similar)
- remove bezel surrounding shifter
I'm stopping here because I assume you want the upper boot removed and not the lower boot. Its pretty straight forward but becasue of the way things are layered in this car, you always have to remove serveral things to get to the one you want.
