Word is that a couple gallons of methane will help a borderline car pass emissions test. Anybody know what it does and what part of the test it will help pass? Also heard it could damage the fuel system. Anybody with some facts? Thanks, bf
Methane is going to be a gas at normal temperature/pressure - so not something you could readily add to your gas.
They were probably referring to ethanol, isopropanol, or some other alchohol (NOT methanol) - this can help your car if you are borderline on emissions.
