TB By-pass link?
Does anyone have a link to the TB by-pass procedure or directions as to how and what to do?
Thanks,

well i dont have step by steps but i can tell you basically what to do.
remove the air duct, disconnect the two hoses on the bottom of the TB and mate them together with a pipe in the hoses and two clamps to hold them on. I know the LT1 guys have a pipe specially made for it with two clamps to hold the hoses on the pipe. You dont have to drain the radiator to do this, just try not to spill any of the coolant.

Thanks. My radiator is currently drained so that wont be a problem.
Question:
My TB only has 1 hose below it that looks like a heater hose. Where is the 2nd one?
Thanks Vader86

The 2nd one is the bottom hose on the passenger side of the TB. Right behind the IAC valve.

Cool, found it. It was still attached to the TB eventhough I had the TB off to replace the thermostat.
Thanks.

I am not sure if your set up is the same, but when I did mine I removed the entire hose and ran a new piece of 5/8
heater hose from the outlet on the intake manifold to the heater core. Worked nice, one piece no splices.

I did mine like jeepie91. Looks much better than having a spliced hose in there

Re: TB By-pass link? (Paul G)
I did both of mine 2 different ways.
The couple (first one I did) I cut the hose coming off of the TB on the passenger side and put a ball valve in line.
The Vert needed new hoses so I got '95 hoses that don't have the provision for the TB hose.
I like the method I used on the vert best as it is the cleanest. Although, I can turn it on in the couple if I ever move to Anartica!

Thanks! I'll give it a shot once I get that stupid broken bolt out of the intake. :smash:
