1994 C4 Won't Start
i have a 1994 corvette that won't start... um basically it will turn over but won't ever start... when i apply some gas to it, it will start and then die right away... if i repeat the process it continues to flood out... i also think that something is wrong because the chord to my throttle body (not sure if thats what its called) is very loose... so is it possible that it is letting gas into the engine while not in use? any help would be great

Some basis:
The cable going to the throttle body controls the amount of air into the engine, not fuel. The computer (ECM) does this. If this cable is loose, then something is wrong...could be the ARS.
The IAC controls the idle air volume. So if it is not working, then it will not start.
I suggest to start with the IAC, remove it, clean it and the passage way, push the tip in just a bit, re-install and try again to start.
There are several things that will need to be checked in troubleshooting. If you do not have a service manual...get one...they are invaluable.

There might be numerous problems.
Could you provide some history on the car (i.e. which engine, mileage, recent engine work, how long has the problem occured, any symptoms before it started this current problem)...
Unfortunately, the no-start/will-not-continue-to-run problem could be caused by many things, so with additional information, we should be able to help...
