poor shift quality on 4 plus 3 tranny
I have a friend who has an '86 corvette conv. pace car with 15K on the odo. The reason he doesn't drive it is because the shift quality of the Doug Nash 4 plus 3 manual trans has always been horrible. I was wondering if anyone had similar experiences with this combo and if anyone had any suggestions on a simple fix? It's not a mechanical malfunction;this fellow is maniacal on vehicle cleanliness and maintenance and just installed a new master and slave cyl for the clutch.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
