infl Rest doesn't blink A-K shorted
My Infl Rest light and seatbelt guy have been on a while. I bought the Mid-America tool but the Infl Rest light does not blink. I checked the tool and it appears okay. It does delay when the Infl Rest light comes on. Without the tool hooked up they both come on at the same time. Thus I assume the ground is okay.
I have read several of the posts but none mention the light staying on. Also one hinted about an aftermarket radio. A previous owner installed an aftermarket radio that has been acting up lately. Could the problems be related?

Do yourself a favor DISCONNECT THE BATTERY and leave it sit awhile. Then peel back the carpet down in the footwell area and pull apart the plug connector to the frame sensor and OHM the sensor. You won't have to worry about cleaning the crud and rust from under the sensor and will know if it's bad or not. Pipe

Thanks pipe. I will try that. I do not have a FSM but I have seen the resistance values on other INFL REST posts. The car came from AZ 3 years ago and was very clean. The midwest is tough on cars though.
