86 window regulator upgrade
I just bought some used updated regulators for a 1986 vette. Im having a REALLY hard time trying to adjust the windows!!!!!!!!!!! I have new weatherstripping and new outer door seals for both doors. Ive loosened all bolts and nuts and Im having no luck. Its either hitting the pillars or its bowing out near the top. Ive been messing with it for the last three days. Im going to burn this car! Does anyone have any pointers?

At the Bottom, did you have to drill the holes for the bottom mount of the scissors type regulator??
If so, I'd start there. The New OEM ones from thepartsladi has a template that tells you just exactly where to drill.
