C4 ASR service
Hi . My car is 1992 Lt-1 auto . The problem is that while driving the light ASR service can light . No changes in driving exept not working ASR. But if I stop the engine - it wil not start. Injectors are not working at this moment . If I switch ignition on & this light is on - engine not starting. If I switch ignition on and light is gone - engine is working... While driving it will not stop.Only after stop it will not start... Can somebody help me???

It sounds like a short somewhere and it won't be fun to chase down. Next time you have the light on no start pull the ASR/ABS fuse and see if it starts.
Visually inspect the ASR/ABS compartment behind the driver seat for signs of water/corrosion/evil gnomes etc

Does the service engine light ever light up? I'm wondering if maybe it's burned out or something and supposed to be on at the same time as the ASR light.
Either way, have you tried pulling the codes? It's pretty simple to do and it may point you in the right direction.

Check engine light is working properly... I checked engine codes. When engine is not starting ,it tell me - no fault codes !!!! I checked it by connecting A& B. I didnt check ABS or ASR codes...Tomorrow I ll try...

I checked it , cleaned the glass ,checked tire pressure !!! I asked about help !! Dont ask stupid questions . I thought that serious people are here ????? Am I right ??? Here is tech help or what ????

it is not a stupid question low brake fluid will get the SERVICE ASR light on... we just try to help you...

I had the same problem in my '92. I found a loose ground by my oil filter on the side of the block. I also found that my ECM was not working correctly. Sounds like your ECM is dying a slow death.
