1/2 fast spring idea

the car's nose is up about 2'' above desired height...'usual' lowering tricks will not be enuf...do not want c/o springs with all their probs...thinking (?) to cut the oem transverse glass spring at the center, creating l/r 'quarter ellipicals', with jackbolts at the new center cut to allow individual/unlimited ride height adjustment.

obviously gonna lose 'spring crosstalk'...other negatives???

UHHH!! I wouldn't do that if I were you.

Find out what spring you have and get a lower rated spring

I think some have drilled oblong holes so they could put the bolts in and flatten out the spring, not a great idea I am sure
