I'm thinking of taking off the smog pump, cat, and installing hooker super comp. headers and flowmaster mufflers. Also 24 pound injectors, ported maniflod,SLP fuel runners,52 mm. throttle body, and cold air induction

what do you think ??

Well,
1. you already have 24 Lb injectors. 85's came standard with them.
2. the headers are a good idea, but a high flow cat doesn't cost much in HP, keeps it legal
3. The flowmasters will be extremely noisy, try the Corsa's
4. ported manifold and big runners don't do much without ported plenum.
5. Your throttle body increase will help,
6. you already have cold air induction. it gets it's air ahead of the radiator.
7. Talk to Pete K and change the torque converter

Remember yours is a road car, not a drag car. a gentle mix will yield a great driver.
1. Keep everything you take off of it, and take pics of how it was installed. The next owner will greatly appreciate it.
2. Remember, you car is probably worth $5000. taking care with what you have will keep it from being a $3500 car.
3. Never cut anything, and never add body junk; spoiler, ground effects, etc. Once you do, the value goes in the toilet.
4. Make sure anything you do to the car can be reversed.
5. Never cut wires unless there is no other way.
6. If you splice wires, use the correct splices and crimpers. These cars are electical nightmares to begin with, don't add to your chores by doing faulty electrical work.
7. never buy parts for your car at Home Depot, Lowes, or Ace, etc.

Keep that in mind, and you should do fine.

Coupeguy hit the nail right on the head with everything he said. I'll add, make your car reliable, change hoses, the serpintine belt, etc if they need replaced, just keep your car in nice shape, that's all ya need and enjoy the ride.

How many miles are on the engine? Are you rebuilding it or just bolting on parts? If it has over 100K, new injectors would be a good idea. What is your plans for the car, quick street car, occasional drag racing?
