Default LT1 ventilation system for modded engine?

Head/cam, etc. and No air pump, etc. I have some small oil leaks, my friends (1 a mechanic) think it may be to much crank case pressure. Is there something already built in for this (PCV?) or should I add something, tubing, breather, etc?

This guy had similar issues on a turbo Buick.

Although you're running a little more HP, our cars are similarly modded. I have had (knock on wood) zero oil leaks since modding. Actually I fixed the oil leaks while modding. I wouldn't think crankcase pressure should be a problem on our cars.

How many miles on engine? How often does the Corvette get driven? Have you recently changed from conventional oil to synthetic oil? Have the leaks developed after the modifications to the engine? Has the oil seepage gotten worst with time?

122k
every day
no, always Mobil 1
always had oil leaks, then did the mods, leaks stoped for a few months, then started again. Always drips, never noticed low oil.

My friends said they could smell oil burning sometimes, so he thinks pressure is causing. I don't know, I know the intake etc. is prone to leaks anyway.

Unfortunately we cannot tell, just see the drips on floor or on headers.

That's frustrating!!

I have had an oil pan leak. Replaced with a GM gasket, still leaked. Replaced with a thicker Felpro gasket, leak fixed.

Had the usual intake China wall leak. Replaced the intake gasket and RTV, leak fixed.

Had several timing cover seals leak. Replaced the seals, still a leak. Tried a crank hub sleeve, still a leak. Finally upgraded to a GenII opti and at the time installed a new timing cover and new balancer hub, no leak.

Leaks can really be a major PITA with these cars. Fortunately for now (knock on wood) I am leak free.

Good luck with yours.

Is the oil leaking on the headers on the oil fill side? It could be a faulty seal on the oil fill cap if it is still the original. Valve cover gasket leaks can be hard to find. Sometime the valve cover bolts need to be retightened after the valve covers have been taken off the vehicle.

Origianl oil cap, but don't think that is it. We see the oil under the car down near the collectors. Plus the residue on other things. The problem is a few drop of oil blown/washed after driving can spread over a lot of things and make it hard to identify source.
