I have my intake off, and taking off the passenger valve cover is a headache with egr tube, and AC so I want to remove the rest of it.

I currently have a
1.EGR blockoff plate on the base
2.straight pipes with no cats

what else do I cap or take off to be done?

do I cap the exhaust manifolds, and stuff?

thanks

Need the block off plate for the exh manifold flange.
If the EGR valve is gone (sealed ) you dont need the plate for the EGR crossover tube port on the intake

use pipe plugs found at your harware store. just unscrew the check valves and plug them

If you are also deleting the AIR you need to cap the one way valves on the exh each side.
If only deleting the EGR you need to cap the exh flange where you removed the crossover tube.

Doesn't he have to deal with the vacuum lines that trigger the EGR? For no other reason than to clean up that area?

I want to get rid of all pipes andthat stupid pump in the front, I have no emmisons and I don't want to have extra crap to take off all the time when I work on it.

also after I get done with this round of crap, I might have Bjankuski do a chip for me, so codes should not matter.

I figured he was smart enough to work that one out
He does state however

"I currently have
1.EGR blockoff plate on the base"
