Just picked up a 92 with ZF6 tranny.
Putting the tranny into reverse takes some getting use to, is this normal?
You seem to have to fool with it to find the right spot.
New C4 owner.

If it is a 92 version of the tranny it should be just pulling up on the ring while pushing right of 6 and pulling backward. If it is a 96 version of the tranny (a PO could have dropped on into it) then you just have to push harder to the right and pull harder back. Either way it should be natural after a few times.
