VE Tables with a MAF car ???????
Ok, I'm on the DYI/GMEFI mailing list thing, and there is a big discussion about whether or not the ECM/PCM uses VEtables with a MAF system.
With a MAF and MAP sensor, you can calculate the appropriate #'s and VE tables aren't needed.
One guy even went as far as ZEROING all of the values in his VE tables and the car ran exactly the same.
So, does anyone know if it makes any difference at all running VEmaster and changing the VE tables?

Hehe.. do you subscribe to that list too?
I'm pretty sure after reading all of their stuff that if the MAF fails, it goes into another mode which uses those VE tables.. i wonder what would happen if it jumped to a table with 0's in it :eek: :eek: :eek:
