bad ECM?

Default bad ECM?
Engine cranks but will not run. No "check engine" light whatsoever. This happened after trying to charge a bumed out battery that would not take a charge. I guess that burned out the computer, am I correct? Where's a good place to buy another ECM for my 88? Thanks

An ECM can take quite a bit of abuse. My guess is the problem is not the ecm.

You were right. There was a short in the ECM connector terminal. I'm glad I didn't have to buy a new computer for nothing. Works fine now.
