Just bought a 92 and the digital part of the cluster with the speedo went out after a few minutes of driving, came back on for a minute, now it seems to be out for good. I heard of this issue but dont know the fix or the problem. please help.
Checked all fuses,( lcd, dash, cluster) all are good, whats the next step? Do i need to take out the cluster or start checking grounds under hood or dash? Im at a loss. First corvette. sorry
What does that mean. seriously. Do i need to open up the cluster or what, and what am i looking for. Will someone that knows what their talking about pleease give me a normal answer or direction.
Remove you're lower panels. Drop you're steering colum ,and remove cluster , then take it apart and put it back together nice and tight , that usually brings mine back to life. Haveyou tried applying pressure to lower left of cluster or slight tap??
Hey thanks man. finally some decent advise. i was about to do that anyway. but its nice to hear from someone that sounds like they know what their talking about.
Oh, we know what [I]we're[I] talking about. We just might not know what you're talking about, and so we pipe up with some "cryptic wisdom"....
I'm newbie to the vette myself, but don't panic, the good folks around here make themselves known in short order. There's more than a couple I'd owe lunch to if they were keeping tabs.
