Hey guys, Im trying to get the most info possible before I get the Vette so here goes another one of my annoying performance questions....... Ok, On a 89 Corvette Cpe. 6-spd, What is the fastest, cheapest and smartest way to get it to break a 13 (Run a 12.xx) in the 1/4? (ex. Cam, Headers, gears..) and it has to be N/A ( no NO2 ...) Thanks Guys... Please Help me out on this one :flag
Hey Vic, where are you located on the Island?? Im in Bohemia, I used to live in N Babylon. Man DR's are a beautiful thing! Is it me or is that a really quick stock time? Thanks man
Oh Really?!?! My Uncle and Grandparents live there and my parents grew up in East Meadow. I never hit the track yet. I dont even have my Vette yet. Still Driving the Camaro. I need to sell it bad! Its a Small World. Thanks Man. Oh but It will be a stick, so no torque converter for me. Thanks.... Anyone else with advice? :D :jester
Mini-ram, CC-306 cam, new valve springs, full length headers, and 3.73 gears will put you at low to upper 12s (depends on you).
If you open up the stock intake, put a high lift/short duraton cam in, headers, and 3.73 gears, you'll hit the occasional high 12.
You'll need DRs in both occasions. Changing the heads on both motors would provide definately more power if you match the flow numbers up with the cam and intakes.
