Default Hooker 2151 question

Will these headers work on both a '89 L98 style head and for a LT1 Head?
I don't know the port shape at the flange, the catalog only says 'same as port'. Do they mean d-port or square? Thanks Dave

The 2151 is the same as the 2149 but w/o the EGR provisions. It will mate up perfectly fine to an L98 D-Port head. :)

They fit fine on the LT1 heads as well.

Yes,
As stated above you will have no problems. I would use SHCS were ever possible. The fit between the bolts and tubes are VERY close and the SHCS will make tightening much easier. There was no was I could get the passengers very back one tight with the regular hex head. The SHCS was also a challenge but I finally got it. Compared to other headers I have installed, these were a dream! You will like them.

Quick note: 2151, painted, not coated. 2151-1, coated.

Thanks for the help guys! :yesnod:
I'm going to put these on my '89 L98 I'm playing around with as a drag only car.
However, before I got the '89, I had started to do a racey type build up on a spare LT1 for the '92.
I thought I might race the '89 while I finish the LT1, then drop it in the '89,
just didn't need to buy headers twice, Thanks again, Dave
