C4 Exhaust
Is there an exhaust setup that works good but has no inside resonance? I have a magnaflow cat, a rear y pipe with a crossover and two aftermarket ??? unknown muffler.Ive been told that only the quiet flow mufflers will work.... any ideas? thanks

I believe B&B are less harsh on the resonance....I will let some other members chime in about this...

The only aftermarket exhaust system that I hear universally praised for no resonance is Corsa. With every other brand (Magnaflow, B&B, Flowmaster, etc) you hear some people say they get no resonance and others say resonance is really bad. I know I have headers, duals, no cats and 40 series Flowmasters and the drone will rattle the fillings out of your teeth.

Corsa is the Only exhaust system that has Great sound and No interior resonance.
It's expensive but, you'll end up replacing every other exhaust system you try before ending up with the Corsa, believe me!

Corsa is the only way to go for no resonance on a C4, all others have some just more or less.
I put Corsa's on last week and am thrilled with how quiet they are while going down the highway.

I have Borla cat back on my 93 lt1 and I hardly notice on the highway:however, around 25-45 mph there is a nice deep hum. I have heard many Corsa kits and they are designed to eliminate the dron in the cabin and when you hammer down the loud pedel the it will change its tone.

The stock mufflers will work fine, too
I've got Hedman long tube headers, true dual pipes without any cats and only stock mufflers. It's dead quiet while cruising, the loudest thing is tires in the highway speed. (50-75 mph) But when I step on it, it will have some nice growling. Just the way I wanted. Quiet while driving nicely, but loud enough, when I want it to be.I used to have Magnaflow mufflers, they created terrible drone, especially with true duals, no cats.

I am not sure what mufflers I have...maybe equate haha,,,anyway I have heard that Corsa is the best...probably go with quiet flow until I get more $$$$. I have more things to do before I spend big $$ for an exhaust...Thanks all for your advice...Thanks everyone
