FIC Injectors
Well, I have a 94 LT1 with 107 k miles on it. I've been wondering if I should replace the injectors (really thought I should, just didn't want to spend the money).
I did this week. Ordered a set from FIC and they came in Monday. I did the change Tuesday. I've never had a fuel injector in my hand or really seen one out of the vehicle. Got LOTS of Holly carb experience-40 plus years. Read the directions and started on the job. After a couple of phone calls ( both stupid questions-got real answers real quick) had the job done in about an hour and a half.
Fired the car up, did just what the folks at FIC said to do. Then drove it about 100 miles on Wensday. It'll bark the tires on a WOT shift from 1 to second. Drove it 400 miles today (Thursday) seems like it's got more low end and I'm seeing good numbers on the instant gas mileage. I'll find out more on a couple of road trips in the next 3 weeks.
I'm tickled to death on this deal. Good parts, Good price, Good info on what you need to do to change stuff.
