L98 block horsepower limits
Not sure of year. It's not the stock block. It is a 1 pc rear main seal roller motor.
At what horsepower limit will the block be prone to cracking, and such?

The L98 1 piece seal 350 was used '87-'91, and has 2 bolt mains. They're all roller motors from the factory.
It depends on what operating range it will be in. If kept to L98 specs 5500 rpm limit then i'd say 800 hp maybe. Higher rpms will require a stronger 4 bolt block to withstand the power.
